The People of E-Government

Its been said the value of any organization is only as high as the quality of its people. We certainly believe in the statement truth and E-Government has a team to be envied. In addition to the highest quality people E-Government goal is bringing you the best quality software coupled with world-class support.

Our motto is “Bringing E-Government to the People” and our commitment is providing the people to bring our goal to fruition.

Dr. Urban LeJeune - President

Urb is the president and founder of E-Government. He is the principle architect behind the E-Government Municipal Content Management System (MCMS.) Urb has a doctorate in Computer Science from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and is the author of three Internet related books and numerous articles on programming and the Internet. His insightful series of PHP form handling articles appears on the O’Reilly website

When Urb was a professor of Computer Science at Stockton State College in NJ, he has his first exposure to the Internet in 1987. He was instrumental in bringing the Internet to Stockton and also developed and offered a course title "Exploring Science Using the Internet" in 1991. This may have been the first course offered for college credit where the main thrust was the Internet.

In 1994 Urb authored the "Mosaic and Web EXplorer" which was the first major book on the use of the Internet for non-technical people. Urb has been designing and producing commercial websites since 1994. Email Urb

Dr. Patricia K. Vogel - Vice President

Pat Vogel is Vice President of Training and Free Stuff. Path holds a Doctorate in Education from Temple and has over 20 years of educational experience from kindergarten to College level. She has been actively involved with the Internet since 1994 and E-Government for the past five years.

It was Pat’s idea to offer completely free websites to Historical Societies and to offer the free use of the E-Government basic module for only a $250/year hosting fee. More information on E-Government free websites Email Pat

Jason Bailey – Vice President

Jason is the E-Government graphics maven and holds a BFA degree from the University of Montana. Jason is also our resident CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) expert. CSS, when taken to the level employed by Jason, totally separate a website’s design from its content. Jason is in charge of upgrading the E-Government Municipal Content Management System (MCMS) with “strict” CSS. When completed this feature enables municipal website administrator to make minor cosmetic changes, such as color and font size as they currently do. In addition, the new system allows administrators the option to select a totally different look and feel for their websites.
